Principal Writer, Aaron Braxton, holds a B.A. from San Diego State University and a M.A. from the University of Southern California. Aaron is a renaissance man. As a playwright, his critically acclaimed solo play, “Did You Do Your Homework?” ran a record breaking 9 months at the renowned Beverly Hills Playhouse, making it, at the time, the highest grossing play of all time and garnering a “NAACP Image Award,” and an “International Gala Star,” in Romania. Other notable plays include “BROKEN”, (recently adapted into a movie), which won a Max K. Lerner and Inroads fellowship, and has been a finalist in several playwriting competitions.

Also a multi-award winning screenwriter, Aaron’s screenplays, “The Passage of Sun” (Historical), “To Lie Beneath” (Horror), ”A Long Way From Sunday” (Edgy Faith Based) and “The Longest Goodbye” (Drama) as well as his TV pilots, ”The Sub” (Dramedy) and “Gentrified” (Comedy), are among the most awarded and accoladed scripts in the world. The author of several books, Aaron’s coming of age novel, “Jesse and the Caterpillar Who Got Its Wings” was distinctly nominated for the Emma Children’s Book Award. An accomplished actor, Aaron has starred, guest starred and co-starred in many films, television and stage productions.
